Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Friggin awesome! Elk jalapeño dog is to die for. The cauliflower side dish is a keeper as well.

Super disappointed they took the 8 mile off the menu. Still looking for that Detroit style coney here in Colorado. The old owners nailed it! Drove 45 miles for it. I am not impressed with biker jims awards, just get me a coney like Lafayette has been making for 100 years. Guess I will buy a plain ticket and go home to eat one.

Yum! Everything we tried was perfect. The elk and cheddar dog is my favorite. This place is amazing!

This place has gotten popular as being "trendy" and "different". Unfortunately that is all that they can claim. The prior hot dog establishment (Bernies?) at this location was much much better in terms of quality and flavor. Perhaps the other Biker Jim's location is better, but this one seems lackluster. Perhaps they are just experiencing growing pains as they train their new staff -- but as of right now I have had better dogs next door at the Home Depot. My family ordered several different items two adult hot dogs, a kids meal, and sides of fries, fried pickles. The kids meal was a joke -- a limp dog on a bun cut in half. Horrible. The other two dogs were OK but they didn't have any punch or outstanding flavor (despite the menu's efforts to describe them as different or exotic). The fries were dry and the pickles had very little crust (they were basically like the pickles you get on the side at a decent sandwich shop). I can see the appeal of this restaurant if you are a tourist or visiting from out of town and want to pound your chest and say you had an Elk hot dog when you were visiting the town of Denver, CO. Otherwise, better dogs (both standard and exotic) can be found elsewhere.

Fantastic food and very friendly! I finally got a chance to try the famous Biker Jims and boy was i impressed. Being that I enjoy hot dogs but know nothing of gourmet hot dogs -- the staff did a great job of explaining the menu. On top of the great hot dogs -- the sides where awesome; from Mac N Cheese to fries to cauliflower. I'm also a Coke snob, but their fancy sodas were quite awesome -- made with real sugar cane. I tried the diet soda and was impressed. Give this place a try!

We cannot say enough about this place and the staff. All the food here is absolutely amazing and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We have tried almost everything on the menu and there's nothing we wouldn't recommend. Biker Jim's has become one of our regular restaurants and we recommend it to everyone we talk to.

The food tasted sooo good but unfortunately my BF and I both had diarrhea multiple times that day and so sick for the rest of the day. Can't go back which is unfortunate cuz I love hot dogs and it was really good :(

Great food, pretty careless staff! Sorry to witness employees mocking upset customers after they leave so the whole place to hear! Customers are not always right but in this case the customer was making valid points and it was embarrassing to watch a a manager behave so unprofessionally!!

Chandler was a very personable and attentive manager. I had the bat dog, which was really good...my husband had the Louisiana Red Hots with the classic topping. I liked his dog better, because I am a less-is-more kind of gal. The Mac and cheese bites and cauliflower were great accompaniments. Boylans soda on tap:) Would love to see the orange soda on there in the future. We like to support small business, especially here in the chain riddled suburbs. Thanks, Jim and Chandler for providing a great experience. We will be back!

I had their chicken dog special today, it was terrible. Dry and tasteless. Good thing I have had their dogs before and they were much better otherwise I would never go back.

Glad they finally put one down south. Can't go wrong with either the reindeer or jalapeño elk. Enjoyed the rattlesnake and pheasant. Great dogs! Nice to enjoy something different.

Well we have been two nights in a row if that says anything about Biker Jim's. I took my youngest son the first night and then my second kid got wind of it and wanted to go the next night. Today my youngest had the reindeer dog (on Dancer and Prancer), my oldest had the buffalo and I had a burger. For our sides, the mac and cheese and I tried the cauliflower. Had I known the cauliflower was going to be served with a side salad I would have had that all on it's own. My burger was wonderful. It was fantastic!! The kids were thrilled with their food. Coming up to the restaurant is a pairing with Savory Spice Shop. They will provide the spices that they use at Biker Jim's. Love the local businesses working together. Oh and BACON POWDER..... Sprinkle that on everything! This joint is unique and tasty. They do have a standard beef dog for those who just want the basics.

I liked the staff and the ambiance was nice too. They had a good amount of free condiments and overall my reindeer hot dog tasted good. They have a good selection of different meats and the staff was cheerful. I'd like to return in the future.

Delicious hot dogs! Lots of gamey meat choices like elk, reindeer and buffalo. They also serve rattlesnake, as well as pheasant and duck. I've tried just about everything except the standard beef dog. I live life on the edge. There are a variety of toppings to choose from with cool names like "the international" and "the conspiracy". Some fried pickles and $2 PBR 's and you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

Won't lie after trying a "gourmet" hot dog, I was a little leery with the concept. (See my other review). Found Biker Jim's on yelp and immediately thought at least it sounds gourmet. Upon walking in the woman behind the counter greeted us and asked if this was our first time here. She reviewed the menu on the wall and asked what were looking for sweet, savory etc Yes, you can order the traditional beef dog, but they have a great menu for the risk taker. I chose the rattlesnake and pheasant. Love at first bite! It had the snap a good sausage needs. The row of spices tells me that they make things in-house. The guy who made my dog ate here once and was so moved he took a job here. They have a patio which has a beautiful view Thank you for restoring my faith in gourmet hotdogs.

Amazing place ! A must try for adventurous hot dogs !! I am vegan and had the spicy veggie dog very good and soft I also had a side of fries which was a huge portion ! My dad had the buffalo dog and loved it ! He also had a side of the tahini cauliflower and salad both very good ! The workers are friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu ! I will return and recommend it !

  • Keryl M.

Wow! Great gourmet dogs! I had the Boar and Eric had the Elk! Both were Delish! Fried mac n cheese/ pickles were great! Love the patio and the view!

  • Courtney G.

Good but not great. Had a wonderful selection of different types of dogs.....but their buns are too huge and have way too much thick bread. Loved the fried mac and cheese sticks.

I'm a huge fan of Biker Jim's - Downtown, on the carts downtown and now this location. I've had the chance to order many different kinds of dogs on the menu my favorite and the one that I always come back to is the Reindeer dog. I always go classic with cream cheese and caramelized onions. If you want something with a kick go for the Elk Jalapeno Cheddar dog (there is a reason it showed up on Food Network's Best Thing I Ever Ate) What I have recently discovered is the fried mac & cheese. I think it might just be the best thing on the menu. Wait, I think the Charred Tahini Cauliflower is the best thing on the menu. Wait, I think the reindeer dog is the best thing. I can't decide - it's all damn tasty and I'm not sure why I have to pick a favorite. Go with a group and order one of everything and give it all a try. You'll see what I mean and thank me later. Oh, and the fried pickles were tasty too - so don't forget those bad boys. The parking lot is a bit crazy and always seems to be full. The staff is awesome, friendly and very helpful. The back patio has a great view of the mountains.

I was super excited to see them open a location down south, and even more eager to try their much raved about hot dogs but I can't give them 5 stars, and it's taken me a few days to pin down why I didn't leave this place absolutely loving it- and I figured it out! My issue is the bun/hot dog & topping ratio- there was so much more bun per bite than hot dog/toppings, and that just sits with me as something I can't get past. The buns are tasty, but I came here for a hot dog (buffalo dog with the much acclaimed cream cheese and sauteed onions). I really liked the dog, and the toppings, and available topping bar, but the amount of bun took away from my ability to really taste the hot dog and toppings. Otherwise their incredibly eclectic menu is awesome, and leaves many more reasons for me to visit again despite it not being 5 star. Kid's menu options are interesting- regular hot dog and mac n cheese hot dog. My 7 year old did not like the mac n cheese inside the hot dog, but it was fun to have tried; he put enough pickles and banana peppers on it to mask the mac n cheese flavor to convince him to finish it. The service was lovely with the people behind the counter asking if we'd been before and offering recommendations. The location is easy to find, and they do have some outdoor seating in front and back. Boylans soda is a nice change for fountain drinks. All in all, I will be back when I'm in the mood for a hot dog (though I think it fair to mention they do not offer Chicago style dogs, which is totally fine and I understand it's not their thing, but fair to mention as that does come to mind when you think of a place only serving hot dogs).

I'm very happy that Jim now has a location outside of downtown Denver because I hate fighting the one-way traffic and parking down there, and while I think his gourmet hot dogs are the BOMB, it's just hard to get so excited about them that it's worth the hassle of getting there. Now, however, I can stop by the Highland's ranch location on my way home from work and enjoy a delectible Duck Cilantro dog, a spicy Southwest Buffalo dog, or an interesting Rattlesnake Pheasant dog, all topped with Jim's signature cream cheese and carmelized onions, of course! You won't get the same personalized, friendly service that you get at a street cart, but the kids working at this Biker Jims are above average in the teenager-working-at-a-fast-casual-restaurant category. The upside over cart service is more options - instead of simply offering chips, you get to choose from fries, fried pickles, fried mac n cheese bites, baked beans, or even Tahini cauliflower. The fountain offers Boylan's sodas and there's also a decent selection of independent micro brew beers. As far as the sodas go, black cherry or cream soda are strong choices. There's a decent amount of seating and Jim's, but it's a bit cramped. There's nice outdoor seating out front as well as out back, weather permitting.

We drove all the way to highlands ranch to try this place. It was actually pretty good. You get your pick of meat- they have spicy dogs, all beef, pheasant, buffalo, rattlesnake, reindeer. Then you pick your toppings. I like the classic- caramel used onions and cream cheese. Hot dogs are great and they are good quality but the buns I could care less for. They are very creative with their menu. The Sonora dog is great- fresh ingredients. The house made chips are awesome, Mac n cheese bites are so good and fried pickles are half spears. I wish I would've wrote this review as soon as I tried it because I can't remember everything we tried. The prices are reasonable too. Their condiments are even good. They have spicy mustard, ketchup, jalapenos, some kinda curry ketchup/ they like to mix a lot of unique flavors there, I even saw cumin somewhere in the mix. Fancy gourmet hotdogs at a great price... You can't beat that. Had a coupon from colorado's best so it was on- total fat kid status for us

Loved this place drove by many times always saying "I have to try that sometime" Finally stopped and I'm glad I did. An incredible innovative and interesting concept! The staff were welcoming and explained the process and even gave me a taste of a couple things for future ordering. Looking forward to going back to try each of the dogs so I can decide which one is my favorite! Nice Job!

Living in the southern burbs we are sorely lacking in good restaurants, so it was exciting to learn that Biker Jim's was heading south! I had eaten at the restaurant downtown, and really enjoyed it, so we just had to check this place out. Located in the former Bernie's space in the Town Center at Highlands Ranch, it's easy to find. Parking sucked, I have to say. There's a Noodles and Company, Corner Bakery, Indulge Wine Bar, and the parking lot is not large, and was packed. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Lots of cool dog offerings. I got the Louisiana Red Hot done "coney style" minus onions. The dog was spicy and had a good deal of heat. The chili on the dog was pretty good even though it was a little sweet which I thought was a little weird, but it didn't detract overall from the coney. The homemade chips were good, but could have used some seasoning on them. Overall, it was good, and I will return.

I decided to give biker Jim's a try after it changed from being a Bernie's hot dog place. I was greeted by one employee who explained what they were all about, meanwhile another employee was banging on the grill with a utensil annoyingly, then vacuuming some other piece of equipment. I didn't know how to order so I ended up with two dry venison hot dogs with nothing on them. I also couldn't try their chipotle brownie because the brownie part was not prepared. Later my friend informed me that she tried it and it was burnt and not good. There's no improvement from when it was Bernie's and still $10+ trying to compete with all these large chain lunch places.

If you're looking for a unique eat, Biker Jim's is the place to go. So far, I have tried all their regular dogs and several of the off menu items and have never had a bad experience. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and definitely knew the menu (i.e. What dog tasted the best with each topping, etc). I went with the reindeer and Diablo topping with a side of fries. The flavors were solid and the dog was cooked all the way through and the flavor of the reindeer wasn't sacrificed with the topping. The fries were hot and not soggy, which was awesome. Although this establishment is a bit more expensive than other big dog places, (for one person, it was $13 with a tip) the food and service make it worthwhile to make the trip back.

Yum! Ok, with there being no combos and the sides and toppings all costing extra, it can get a little more pricey than first expected-- but it's worth it! I had the reindeer dog, and can say one thing? Sven is tasty!

Wow! This is probably one the most unique and exciting places I have ever eaten!!! At most restaurants, you're lucky to find two or three truly unique offerings. But at Jim's, just about everything on the menu is one of a kind! My husband and I started with one dog and one side for each of us. But we were so completely smitten that we went back for one more! Here's a list of what we got and how we liked it... Rattlesnake and Pheasant El Diablo style - This was my husbands first choice. To tell the truth, the rattlesnake aspect made me nervous. But I can totally admit when I'm wrong - this thing was amazing!!! It ended up being my favorite of everything we tried. The dog had the perfect amount of kick and seasoning. I was also worried that the toppings might be too spicy for my tastes - nope! They're the toppings I now want to put on everything! Fried Mac and Cheese - They are about the shape and size of those french toast sticks I remember getting in the school cafeteria. They were also a similar texture...which I wasn't expecting. These were probably the only thing that I felt was disappointing. There wasn't much as far as flavor goes - when it comes to mac and cheese, I want the cheesey goodness to punch me in the tastebuds! If you want delicious fried Mac and Cheese, go to Cheesecake Factory. Duck Cilantro Batman style - This was my first choice going in. I tried duck for the first time recently at Mission Taco in St. Louis and fell in love, so I figured it would be a good choice here. And it was nice, but definitely more mild when it comes to flavor. For this dog, the toppings really made it. The tomato cream cheese and bacon bits are what really made this dog a great experience. Tahini Cauliflower - Who knew?!? Who knew that cauliflower was meant to be roasted with tahini?!? The tahini brings a creamy sweetness to the salted cauliflower that is just beyond words. Do yourself a favor and order something different than chips or fries - eat cauliflower. Also, apparently the cauliflower comes with a salad....I don't think the menu mentioned that, but that's what they gave me. I didn't eat it because I wasn't crazy about the dressing and there were too many other amazing options in front of me. Jack-a-lope Conspiracy style - This was what my husband went back for. It's jack rabbit and antelope and it's spicey! A little bit too spicy for my tastes, but I'm sure most normal people would like it. However, the bleu cheese helped to cool it down and the fried onion rings added texture and crunch. This was definitely my husband's favorite! I should also note the service was absolutely perfect!!! The girl at the counter was super patient and super helpful. She was very descriptive and had a lot of great ideas when it came to what dog paired nicely with what style. This location was perfect for us because we were on our way up to Denver from Colorado Springs. We also appreciated that is was pretty laid back and had it's own parking lot. Although it's not very big, being there at 2p on a Wednesday it wasn't very busy, so we had no problem finding a comfortable place to sit.

Biker Jim's is like your neighborhood hotdog place 2.0. They have great beer, and a variety of toppings. Maybe you want a standard all beef hot dog with chili and cheese (although I find their chili a tad too sweet but that's just personal opinion). Or maybe you want exotic game meat with fancy caramelized onions? They've got that too! My absolute favorite combo is the duck hotdog international style (caramelized apples with cheddar cheese and wasabi aoli? Yes please!) Great Boylan's cane sugar sodas, amazing sides like fried mac and cheese or tahini roasted cauliflower and baked beans for simpler times. And my absolute favorite thing about this place: let's say you are not in the mood to eat a hot dog the size of your head but your spouse is? Right next door is the Corner Bakery. Home of beautifully simple soups and salads. In our neck of the woods this location screams compromise that would otherwise land us at the mall food court.

Location, Location, Location!!!! I am super happy I gave things another shot for Biker Jim's. I was not aware there was an easier to get to location in Highlands Ranch mere moments from my office. On a friends convincing I went to this location because he'd never been. I was pleasantly surprised by the difference. I was shown what a bacon wrapped dog is supposed to look like. Wow, what a difference! I opted for simple. Beef Dog and decided to Coney it up this time. Still went with the Fried Mac and Cheese. The dog was cooked correctly and not burnt which made me a VERY happy girl. Also the addition of the Chili and other toppings took away a little of my lack of enthusiasm for excessive bread. I think a bunless option might be fun. LOL Dog Bowl!! I also discovered that the addition of the Roasted Carrott Habanero sauce (ask for it) added a great little boost in flavor to the Mac and Cheese and who doesn't love to dip! The Fried Pickles were really good as well, that's how we found the sauce they come with goes great with the Mac and Cheese as well. The thing that really brought me to come back was a note from Jim about my review of his downtown location. He's a great guy and is really all about making sure his customer's are satisfied and really was interested in my feed back and suggestions. I will return to this location as it is convenient to my office and a great change up from the normal chains at "The Mall". Thanks for everything Jim! See you soon!

They put such and fun and unique and delicious spin on hot dogs here! I tried the bat dog with a reindeer dog instead of the smoked brat and it was delicious. The combination of all the flavors was surprisingly perfect! He had the Louisiana red hot topped with el Diablo and he loved it as well. We also had a side of the fried mac and cheese, which was also really good! I dipped it in some sriracha and ketchup to really send it over the edge! We will definitely be back again to try some more of the crazy combos!

Biker Jim's made it to the 'burbs, and we are all better for it. I have been a patron of the downtown location for several years. I also love the carts, both on the 16th street mall, and in their various trips to breweries and other locales. The all too short-lived food truck was a thing of beauty (I mean the paint job, and not just the food). Now, on those occasions when I am down in "The Ranch", I can also enjoy my favorite food here as well. The new location has been remodeled on the inside. It is a great space, serving the same wonderful food you expect from all of Jim Pittenger's endeavors. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed a tasty dog (with my obligatory onions and cream cheese), a nice cold micro-brew, and I tried the fried mac and cheese. These little 2x4's of lightly breaded crunchy, creamy, deep-fried goodness are a pleasure to consume. If you are on the south end of the metro area, make time to drop by and indulge your appetite.

My hubby and I are regulars at the LoDo Biker Jim's location during baseball season and were delighted to find out that there was one not too far from our new house! We have tried it a couple of times and had a couple of different results. First time, the food was off. The bun was a bit hard, the elk jalapeno cheddar didn't taste like elk, jalapenos or cheddar and everything was just OK. Still, we went back and the second time all seemed to be back to BJ's top quality. The gentleman at the register even told us if we didn't like anything just to let them know and they would get us something else. It is a friendly vibe and maybe they are just getting their footing in a new location. They do have a parking lot and it's free (unlike LoDo). Plus they have some tables inside. Honestly here is where they lose a star for me (along with inconsistency), because they are filled with bars tools and 2 person table tops. In the land of families, this means a family of 4 comes in and spreads out across multiple tables and the place quickly fills up. They really need to add more 4 person table tops. Still, it is sausage heaven and not we can get it in the 'burbs!!

  • Jason J.

Somehow not as good as the Biker Jim's downtown. I got my usual but it seemed kind of blah in comparison. My wife actually asked me if I had hers, which shows you how bland it was. Because we get 2 completely different kinds of meat :) Staff seemed nice and helpful. Didn't see any beer on the menu or behind the counter, so that's a loss of a star. I'm sure we'll be back, and hope that this was just a one-off experience.

This place is really good! We loved the Elk Jalapeno Cheddar and Louisiana Red Hot Dogs! Our favorite part was probably the Macaroni and Cheese Bites and fried pickles, you have to try them if you go here! I have never had a Sonoran dog and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was delicious! The only thing I didn't like was the guac on the Bat dog, it seemed processed and not fresh. Everything else was very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and provided ample room to sit and enjoy our food. We will definitely come back here sometime. Great place to take kids!

I'm really hoping I was just here on an "off" day. Otherwise, I don't get the hype. I had heard wonderful things about Biker Jim's so was thrilled when they opened this location close to home. The woman taking our order was very helpful and steered us toward some good combinations. Bravo for her! I went for the veal bratwurst with the classic topping (cream cheese/sautéed onions). Friend went for the Louisiana red hot sausage with the Sonoran topping. When our order was ready, they had put the Sonoran on my veal and the classic on the red hot. They had to remake our sausages. Then when I got mine my sausage was still cold. At that point I was just too tired and hungry to complain and have them try again. My friend's sausage topping didn't have any beans - supposed to have pintos. The flavors were really good so I'd definitely give them another try and hope this was just a bad night. The fried mac n cheese was pretty darn good and did its part to save the meal. And the back patio has a nice view (though you could tell they had recently hosed it down with something & it smelled a bit weird).

I give this place 3.5 stars with a high likelihood of a revisit, cause I like hot dogs. I especially love trying regional hot dogs, so places like Biker Jim's always end up bookmarked. Is a Denver dog a thing? Like I can imagine a red hot, covered in fried onions, chili powder, and cheese. The location is in a strip mall, so lots of parking. It's got the whole, just built, brand new community, a la Stepford, vibe down pat. The interior is a bit like you would expect from a large chain sandwich shop. There is a large menu of dogs. And not just your typical all-beef hot dogs. Some are made from alternative & unexpected animal flesh. They also have a veggie dog. Most of the dogs here are pretty fancied up; they are after all gourmet! Some even come wrapped in bacon, because bacon! There are also side dishes like salad, fried mac n cheese, chips. Beers on the menu! I love you Denver for all of your brews. There are some desserts too. I had a gourmet version of a Chicago Dog. It was good; but didn't quite have the bite I was looking for. Perhaps I am too attached to my glow in the dark relish. I found the bun a little overwhelming for the dog, though it was a very nice bread. The fried mac n cheese was okay; it was pretty bland, but a few dips in a cup o' sriracha did the trick. They used a good dressing on the salads, a tasty balsamic vinegarette. The service was pleasant. The prices were on the higher side for what is essentially fast food, but I didn't think they were too outrageous for what you are getting. I would come back here and try a few more dogs. I have a feeling they're all pretty good.

I've been to Biker Jim's twice. First time I had the Duck Cilantro dog with The International topping. YUM! I had the Rattlesnake & Pheasant dog with The Desert topping, and it was also tasty. I am not a fan of spicy things, but I was assured by staff that neither of those toppings (with wasabi aioli and harissa-roasted cactus, respectively) would offend my delicate tastebuds. So glad I listened! Great place to come to try something new. The seating inside is very limited. We had a group of five, wanting to dine in, and found it difficult to find a table. The four-tops in the front were occupied by couples. The counter was too high for my kiddos. It was too cold to sit outside. That was the only disappointing thing I experienced at Biker Jim's.

Stopped in not long after the grand opening and while they seemed a little disorganized but the service and food corrected any other feelings I had being in the in industry they picked up on it and took great care of me I would gladly go back and spend my time And money

For sure some solid menu items and meat selections, the rattlesnake pheasant I believe it was, was the BOMB! Forgot the exact topping I chose on the last visit , but truly haven't had a negative experience here. Everything has been super unique and enjoyable. Tad bit pricey , and semi long waiting times at certain hours, but that's understandable given its location.

What can I say Biker Jim's defines what a gourmet dog should be. I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. Staff is very friendly and eager to help with menu. They have Boylan's cane soda which is nice change to the typical pepsi/coke products. They have different types of sausage and several different styles of toppings and combinations. The staff will ask you if your first time so they can assist. This is a fantastic establishment.

So good! I have been here many times, and the food and service are always great, but today( 6pm May 19) the person working the register went above and beyond with friendliness , food suggestions, and all around stellar customer service, so I felt I had to write a review! We love Biker Jims , I always get the all beef Diablo, with the amazing cauliflower , but my husband who is more adventurous has tried almost every type of hot dog and loved them all. We bring all our out of town guests here and everyone of all ages is always happy. If you are in the area, stop by , you won't regret it! (Only con I can think of is the indoor seating is very small and limited, so on a rainy day it can get pretty cramped, especially if you come with a group. )

I've been eyeing this place for almost a year but since I live about an hour away it has taken us awhile to finally make it out. First, the people were phenomenal. The cashier was super kind and patient as we labored to figure out the different dogs and toppings we'd have. The (head cook/ manager?) was also very kind and accommodating. My wife left her purse and he ran it out to us! They encouraged us to take free swigs of the craft sodas they serve and they said if we weren't happy with any of the dogs they'd remake something for us. Second, the food was amazing. There were five of us total and we each got something different but I know we tried the all beef, duck, rattlesnake, and bison I think. My wife got the cauliflower side dish and that was friggin awesome. Wife liked the side salad too. Kids liked the mac and cheese bites alot. The toppings we got were the El Diablo and The Desert. So worth the trip. You gotta try these guys even if you don't like traditional hot dogs. For the love of dog, open one in the Springs guys!

I used to go to Biker Jim's when Jim was a solo operation stand on 16th Street. He used to saute the onions with coke! Anyway good to see that he is doing well and just visited this location. There are more items on the menu and beer, which is a welcome addition. Overall, I can't remember if it tastes the same but still tastes great.

When I first heard about Bernie's changing to Biker Jim's, I was excited because I had heard great things about these guys. But when they finally opened and I got to try their food, I was VERY disappointed. Not that it was bad by any means, but it did not live up to the hype...... at all! I've been here twice and had the Reindeer and then the Elk Jalapeno. Again, I say they were good, but absolutely not great. Their frys are good, and I love the fountain soda. Overall, disappointed in the over-hype.......

This is not your average hot dog place. This place ROCKS THE DOG!!!! Gourmet all the way. Excellent food. I will keep coming back for more. I also met Jim--what a nice guy. Young staff/so service could be a bit better. That should improve eith time n training. All n all you NEED to check this place out.

Love this place! The dogs are awesome and you have to try the fried pickles or fried mac and cheese!

The hot dogs here are so good. They have some really unique flavors. The people working here were really nice too. It was all around a great experience

This place has good food, but the service is pretty exceptional. We went there for lunch and my friend didn't enjoy the hotdog she selected. The cashier stopped by to check in on us and remade the food with a different kind of dog.

No real complaints I guess. Just overhyped. I got the duck cilantro. It didn't taste at all like duck or cilantro. It was still pretty tasty but just seemed like a normal sausage to me. I got it topped with the international which was recommended. Wasabi aioli, caramelized apples and shaved irish cheddar. The aioli had very little to no wasabi flavor and just seemed like mayo to me. The apples were way to sweet. Too much bun for size of sausage. I had the fried mac and cheese on the side and it was good. Again, not exceptional. The girl taking the orders is friendly and helpful but maybe a little too animated and over the top for me. She told me the mac and cheese would "change my life." It didn't. Plus it's expensive. Hot dog and side and water with tax and tip was $13. Value was $8 or $9 tops. I like the concept and it's cool to have something other than fast food but I was underwhelmed.

AVOID THIS PLACE. My wife tried the jalapeño cheese elk hot dog and fried mac, while I tried buffalo dog with chips. The hot dogs tasted old and the chips I got tasted like they cooked in old reused oil. My wife ended with food poisoning and have been throwing up all night. It is food poisoning because she didn't eat anything else all day. The food is old and has no taste. This place is only good if you want diarrhea!

This place is great. The bat dog is fantastic along with the jack-a-lope. It's great to see the "hot dog" and sausage taken to the next level. It's pricey, but well worth the money I must say.

This place is great. I especially liked that everything was fresh and local. My husband used to go to the cart and restaurant downtown. He loves the rattlesnake and pheasant dog. I'm not that adventurous so I got the buffalo dog. The place is really small, so I'd like to see it grow. It sure is great to see something that is not a chain and local.

I've read so many great reviews and unfortunately, I was completely underwhelmed. My wife and I had the bacon wrapped all beef hotdog topped traditionally with cream cheese and grilled onions, the reindeer sausage plain, and the German veal sausage topped with the chili. We also had the sides of fried mac and cheese and fried pickles. The sides were good but the sausages were underwhelming. The hotdog would have been better without the cream cheese and sweet onions we believe. The real disappointment for me were the reindeer and veal sausages. The reindeer had an odd flavor that seemed like a mix between pork and chicken. I couldn't stomach the whole thing. The veal lacked any flavor whatsoever. It reminded me of charred tofu. The soft drink selection was also a bit strange. As I said before, I was quite disappointed with this place since I've been wanting to try it for sometime now. Unfortunately, the $38 price tag did not match the quality of food expected.

Good but not great as expected... . This was my first trip to a Biker Jim's. The dogs were good but did not live up to the hype surrounding the chain. I got an Elk Jalapeño Cheddar dog with the Conspiracy toppings, fries, and a fountain drink. The total cost for this meal (including tax) was $12.60 (not including tip). I thought the price to be a tad high considering that you are eating a hot dog (even if it is gourmet/wild game). Overall, The food was decent despite the slightly high prices, the staff was pleasant, the dining area was very clean with with a standard atmosphere. All in all, I would give this Biker Jim's 3.5 stars out of 5. Expanded Review ------------------------- Food: The dog was decent and was not "gamey" tasting to my surprise. Overall it was a very solid meal but I didn't think that it was anything spectacular - especially considering cost. *FYI/Pro Tip - they don't serve Coke or Pepsi products here. Instead, they serve Boylan's Natural Fountain Soda. Atmosphere: The atmosphere and ambiance is pretty much what you would expect from a modern chain. They had decent lighting and several (3-4) moderately sized televisions playing the day's top sports games. Although it is not a super large place, there was ample seating. Suitable for your standard outing with the fam. *FYI/Pro Tip - there is outside seating in the back. This seating area looks over the Rockies. Not a bad view! Service: The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My meal was made right before me in a quick and efficient fashion. Cleanliness: Very clean. I did not have to pick a spot to sit based off of the cleanliness of the dining tables. The floors were clean. I did not make a trip to the bathroom but would assume that they would be clean as well based on the overall cleanliness of the dining area.
